Product Description

This in-line BEC 12 Volt regulator features 20awg silicon JST leads/plugs and outputs a constant 12v for input voltages up to 16.8v - 4S  Fit directly to the Scarab Power Distribution System leads and Voltair JST and the other side connects directly to the FPV Tx 12v input pins.   These regulators can be left in place for 3S systems as voltages below 12v pass thru un-altered - ie serves not benefit on 3S ; and are optimised for 4S system.  If youre running an FPV Quad on 3s some days & 4S other days then you can just leave this uBEC inline and the FPV camera & Tx wont get more than 12v - if the 3S is low at 9.5v then that voltage 9.5v will simply pass thru.

  • Female JST = INPUT 4S
  • male JST = 12v output to Tx/Cam
  • Linear low noise

Warning - Must be connect the correct way around - correct polarity

12v output ±0.25v  - Maximum 500ma current draw (400mw FPV Tx system MAX)  at 16.8v input - if connected to a 1000mw FPV Tx is will get too hot and blow up - for a 600-1000mw FPV Tx you can be connected in parallel in groups ; ie 3 of these in Parallel

Camera Warning :  connecting the power reverse polarity to the video Tx or Camera will cause it those downstream items to smoke and is not covered by any warranty.  User must observe correct polarity.

Video Tx - make sure your video Tx has the Antenna connect or you will smoke it in about 2 secs with not antenna to radiate power out.
