Product Description
The new 7/2015 888kv R15 CarbonBird BELL & Shaft upgrade/crossgrade kit parts. New for 2015 is R15 motor - existing owners can choose to crossgrade to this motor - the new design adds even better cooling flow, the elimination of the "circlip" and the intergrated 6mm PA now part of the bell itself - combined with dual grub screws - this bell can be cross fitted to any previous 775kv or 888kv motor.

- Intergrated PA 6mm - all-in-one bell + PA
- Elimination of the circlip design
- Dual Grub screw - redundancy
- 28D x 32.0h -see photo at top right (PA shaft + 18mm long)
- 16mm and 19mm mounting holes
- Colour - RED / black
- 27.6g including 320mm wires and GBC - includes PA and M6 nut
- 3.17mm shaft
- 1 x CarbonBird R15 Motor BELL ; and
- 1 x flanged 3.17mm shaft
- 2 x M3 grub screws
- 1 x delrin washer

- Motor balancing tape HERE
- Requires motor set up skills - the process involves removing the old bell and replacing the shaft and bell with the new R15 version - suited to pilots with mechanical skills with tools
- Requires Loctite - NOTE :screws are held by Loctite - this type of glue stops screws coming undone - Loctite glue is VERY hard at room temp or lower temps <35°c - to release any screw with loctite, simply heat it with your grub screw with the tip of your small soldering iron for 20 secs - then the grub will release and turn like its butter

What is the advantage - why do this upgrade? Answer = The primary reason to do the upgrade is to take anvantage of the new engineering in this bell and run more power/better efficiency of a bigger 11 or 12" prop with lower temps - Also for those who struggled with setup and want to avoid circlips and collets - get 100% perfect alignment with no work, as the PA is intergrated so it cannot come off if the grub screws are loctited in. This product has evolved largely from the feedback of customers and the success of the 2400kv Carbonbird Race motor design. It's the best Co-Axial motor we have designed and made to date.
